For climbers
Each region on CragLocal is a chapter, with its own crags, people and climbing culture, and a guide written by the locals who know it. Open one, climb it like a local and make it part of your story.

How it works
What's in the app
The guide, the locals and your logbook, in one app.
Crags, sectors and routes with grades, lengths, approach notes and access info, kept up to date by the locals who climb there.
Every crag is on the map, so you can find the wall, the parking and the path in.
Download a region before you drive out. Routes, topos and your logbook keep working at the crag, and anything you log syncs when you're back online.
Tick routes as you send them and note the style, date and your star rating.
A grade pyramid, your log history, and a map of every crag you've climbed.
See how other climbers rated a route and the grade they'd give it.
Access changes, closures and new routes, posted by the people who look after the crags.
Find guides, gear, food and places to stay on the community map, and ask locals for tips in the region chat. Subscribe to a region to get its chat messages as notifications.
How we climb
Every chapter is written by people who live there. This is what they ask of every visitor.
The people who bolt the routes and live below the crag know what no topo shows: when the wall is in the shade, where to park, which sectors close for nesting birds.
Every crag comes with a village, a club and the people who keep it open. Meet them, ask them, and have a coffee in the village.
Respect closures, park where locals ask, take all your rubbish home and keep the noise down. Leave the crag better than you found it.
